Cognitive Load Mitigates the Positive Effects of Seductive Details in Training

This experimental study examined the interaction between cognitive load and seductive details (SD) as they influence transfer of training. In accordance with previous research, SD were beneficial to transfer of training; however, this positive effect was eliminated when the trainees’ cognitive load was high.
