Abstract

This breakout session focuses on three presentations by leading experts in the areas of critical thinking, feedback and creating learning systems. In each presentation, research across disciplinary fields is summarized to develop a better understanding of the factors that can impact learning at school and work settings. The practical implications of this research for the development of learning principles, guidelines, and strategies for optimizing the design and delivery of instruction are then described.
