Registration Information

Thank you for your participation in the APS 17th Annual Convention. It was our most successful convention ever with more than 2300 attendees.

Convention Registration
Convention registration entitles you to full access to the Annual Convention, including the Opening Session and Keynote Address, Welcome Reception, Presidential Symposium, Bring the Family Address, all educational and poster sessions, refreshment breaks, and Closing Reception.

Teaching Institute registration entitles you to access to the pre-Institute workshop on Wednesday, May 25, as well as the Teaching Institute sessions on Thursday, May 26.

No meals are included in the price of registration. Your name badge and conference materials will be issued at the onsite Registration Desk.

Pre-Convention Workshops
Workshops will took place on Thursday, May 26 and were available only to registered attendees of the APS 17th Annual Convention. Separate registration is required for all workshops.

Banquet in Honor of Robyn Dawes
A banquet to celebrate the career of Robyn M. Dawes, Carnegie Mellon University. In addition to tributes to Robyn's illustrious career, there were numerous opportunities for informal comments, story-telling, toasting and roasting. This event is co-sponsored by the American Psychological Society, Lawrence Erlbaum and Associates, the Society for Judgment and Decision Making, Carnegie Mellon University Office of the Provost, Carnegie Mellon University College of Humanities and Social Sciences, and Carnegie Mellon University Department of Social and Decision Sciences. 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM Reception. 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM Dinner/Program. Tickets: $50 each.

Convention Registration Payment
Full payment must be received with your registration form. APS accepts American Express, VISA or Master Card, or checks made payable to "American Psychological Society." Registrations without complete payment can not be processed. A non-refundable processing fee of $25.00 will be charged for returned checks.

All registrants receive confirmation of their registration by email or postal mail.

All requests for registration refunds must be submitted in writing via fax or mail. Requests must be postmarked on or before Wednesday, April 20, 2005. APS Annual Convention and Teaching Institute fees will be refunded less a $25 processing fee.
