Abstract
Differences between male and female spatial reasoning skills may be due to genes or may reflect differences in learning experiences. Thirty-seven middle-school students were tested on a mental rotation task either after or before working with origami. The treatment group had significantly shorter reaction times on the spatial reasoning task.
