Today's headlines describe tightening budgets and troubling times. Despite this pervasive economic hardship, membership in the Association for Psychological Science is at an all-time high with more than 21,000 members, and continues to grow.
While many groups faced substantial reductions in meeting attendance or were even forced to cancel events, with 3,200 attendees, the 2009 APS Annual Convention was an unqualified success. Attendees came, and they came in numbers consistent with recent years.
APS and the Annual Convention remain Science Strong with a
high quality scientific program that our exhibitors and sponsors
are a valued part of.
