Abstract:
This study was conducted to examine the childcare access, preferences, and needs of working- and middle-class Latino communities. All 141 non-Hispanic white and 403 Latino participants were female. Several questionnaires were administered. Findings indicated that, regardless of ethnicity, mothers prefer children’s grandparents as their childcare arrangement.
