Travel Assistance
Overview
Travel Assistance is intended to assist students attending the annual APS convention by defraying the cost of travel. Recipients are provided with a cash award (the amount of which varies each year).
Applicants for Travel Assistance must be current APS student affiliates presenting research at the 2008 APS Annual Convention in Chicago, IL. Awards are given to students on the basis of convention presentation and the financial hardship associated with attending the conference. International students receive special consideration.
Recipients will be required to volunteer for approximately six hours with various convention functions like the registration desk, student exhibit booth, job bank, etc.
